Customer service is excellent. They advise you on necessary maintenance and service without pressure. And they are a lot more reasonable than the dealership. It is very easy to Recommend R&M.

I am visiting Northridge from Utah and had my engine light go on several times enroute here. I had been told to go to the local Honda dealer...who quoted me a min $90.00 diagnostic fee. A friend recommended R&M,so I called and came here expecting at least the diagnostic fees...maybe more for repairs. As a recent widow, I have been faced with mechanics taking advantage, but was overwhelmed by Rich at R&M starting up my car, checking the engine and returning to tell me there is nothing warranting my leaving it...no charge because everything looks OK. He further advised me to stop by several days before I return to UT in Sept and he will look the !car over for a road worthy check.I have never been so courteously directed by a mechanic! I will be sharing this experience to all my family who drive Hondas and Lexus cars...I wish we had such honest service at more locations here in the Valley and in UT! Thank you,

Best auto repair shop in town. If you are trying to find a a better shop you won't. Owned by the most professional and caring people around mike and reed. Love this place.

I've went from a dealership who could care less about me to RM Automotive who know me and my car personally. They are fairly priced, and a pleasure to work with. I have sent several friends there and will continue to do so.

RM Automotive is owned by extremely unprofessional and unscrupulous individuals which are Mike and Reed. I had my transmission service done there and purchased an additional BG Lifetime Protection plan which they talked me into. The service needs to be done every 30,000 miles. I was informed by the Service Manager at Northridge Toyota that my Toyota Corolla had burnt and contaminated transmission fluid and it was ONLY 8,000 miles from the last time it was done at RM Automotive. Luckily, I remembered that I had purchased the BG protection plan or I would have had to pay for another transmission service again for $190.00. I then brought my car back to RM automotive to have them redo the transmission service per the protection plan. Mike was arrogant, insolent and argumentative toward me and didn't want to redo the service. He acted very disrespectful, rude and unprofessional to me and I was naturally very upset over this! I am currently now due for my Oil Change, and wanted to use a $25.00 gift card from them to use for it. Both Mike and Reed are refusing to service my car any longer and also refusing to refund to me the additional high price I paid for the BG Lifetime Protection Plan. Not every automotive facility including Northridge Toyota uses BG for their transmission service, therefore, I am being screwed because of their unwillingness to service my car any longer! Mike and Reed are obviously unethical and unscrupulous individuals. They did not want to take responsibility for the poor transmission service that they did on my car. They do not have good faith principles or integrity at all! I have reported them today to the BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and the Northridge Chamber of Commerce for their disgraceful dishonest behavior!

I'm sorry we couldn't see eye to eye during your time with us, Mona. As we explained to you, the BG protection plan was not through us, but through BG. So we are unable to refund a warranty that can be used at many other auto shops in the area. While we value you as a customer, I would encourage you to find another shop that you trust and are more comfortable doing business with. I finally found a repair shop I love! I've been in the automotive industry over 11 years, recently was in an auto accident and had to find a good shop! Northridge Toyota failed me! Rich and Heidi are the most friendly, yet professional people! I told him I need my vehicle earlier then previously agreed in an E-mail at 3am. They had my vehicle dialed in, still performed all my requests, they where there to pick me up right away and did one of the best inspections I've ever had done- I was able to use their online coupon and will be a customer for life! Trust me. Call Rich and he will do right by you.The techs are nicer and I would say just as if not more qualified then the dealer. The prices are about half that at your local dealer as well!

I was first impressed when a close friend had a positive experience with his service. Out of curiosity and car trouble I decided to bring it in to the shop seeing that it has the mom and pop shop type atmosphere that is hard to find in today's current automotive industry. What I really appreciated was the fact that they were upfront on what it is I needed to get done and how much the cost of the repairs would be. I will definitely be coming back and refering a friend.

Once again, Mike, Reed, and Rich came thru big time... Not only did they locate my replacement door parts from the east coast somewhere, they had the new stuff in and working in under an hourI also got to pick Mikes brain about towing small SUV's, as he has done that numerous times. Great and very helpful information....
