I recently moved to Northridge and was needing to find a new car shop that can work on hybrid vehicles. I’ve been going to RM Automotive and they have been the greatest. At one point my car was completely immobile and I was able to get it towed into the shop and handled. They made a stressful situation a little less with how professional and quick they handled it. Efrain and Kyle have been very sweet and knowledgeable every time I’ve called and/or came in. They explain everything and are transparent. No surprises, great quality work, comparable pricing. I'm on my 2nd visit w/RM Automotive and so far I've been very happy with the service I've received. My original visit was to get my 2013 Toyota RAV4 XLE smogged. I randomly picked RM Automotive. I spoke w/Efran - I think we're BFFs now :-) Aside from the smog service, I mentioned to him that I was experiencing some hesitation w/my car. Efran then told me about there courtesy check inspection - free! Made an appt; car passed smog test; result submitted; check inspection done. Efran then emailed me the result of the courtesy check. It was long (w/quotes of labor & parts) but I wasn't surprise cuz I had not had any issues w/my car and had done the minimum maintenance (oil change, air filter, tires & battery replaced, etc.). I anticipated that sooner or later I would need to start replacing items (struts, belts, hoses, etc.). I'm having a few items worked on from the list today. Oh by the way - as a woman walking into the shop, I did not feel like I was going to be taken advantage off either - work needing to be done; cost. I was upfront w/Efran that my son usually works on our cars but life gets in the way ha ha ha I consulted w/my son with the list of work to be done - he agreed w/all of them. So ladies - if you need work done on your car - call RM - they'll take good care of you. OH - they shuttle you home and pick you up, if you don't want to wait in the office.

It can be difficult to find a kind, trustworthy mechanic, but Efrain at RM was very compassionate and knowledgeable. I look forward to making this my primary shop when I need car services.

RM is fixing my infinti qx60. Complete transmission replacement. Gave me a car to use in the mean time. Highly appreciated! Can't wait for my car back.

Excellent service, I came in last minute notice & was taken care of by Dean. Once we addressed what my vehicle needed, RMA gladly provided a round trip shuttle service back to my residence. Quick, clean & professional work. They provide you an in detail email breakdown of what your car needs, including photographs, simultaneously grading the level of urgency for what needs to get fixed. Will be a returning customer!

Excellent experience at R&M Automotive! It’s never a good or enjoyable experience to have your car serviced and it’s even worse trying to find a place that you trust. Well, after searching for a repair shop to fix my son’s 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee A/C, we found a top notch place; R&M! There’s a reason they have very good reviews and are a busy shop. They’re that good! Kyle took care of us and he was fantastic! His communication was proactive, professional and helpful. He called me continuously as they had our vehicle, letting me know every step of the way what was happening and when they would be finished. He even provided us a loaner car to make life more convenient for us. Honestly, I’m beyond impressed with how R&M does business. The Jeep is working beautifully and the A/C is perfectly chilly now. Thank you to Kyle & the team for not only a job well done, but a friendly and supportive experience that will definitely have us returning to R&M for our future needs!
